COLLABORATION WORKS: Chamber spokesperson Michael Adendorff says it’s been a successful year.

At the Christmas end of this marvellous year it’s a busy time for most businesses.

As your Chamber we are pleased to report the levels of collaboration as your voice for business and many other agencies are higher than ever.

The message is clear.

Collaboration engenders efficiency and better outcomes.

We will continue to work tirelessly in 2018 to build relationships and work together to produce good outcomes for local business, the wider community, those seeking work and all who desire an even better place to live.

Our aim is for collaboration to catches on as success breeds success, particularly in the relationship between all levels of government.

Let’s be clear what we mean by collaboration.

We are looking particularly at governments working with business to deliver something of public value, even where individuals might have competing priorities.

The intention is working together consistently rather than consulting case by case.

How do we do that?

The Chamber believes if we all work together there’s a common purpose or goal.

Where participants share power, spend time building relationships, secure political backing and every participant is held accountable.

Our goal is to make Coffs Harbour the best regional city in NSW and we call on business to support the next steps and collaborate to achieve the goal.
