The eyes of the Commonwealth will be on Coffs Harbour on 1 February 2018 as the Baton journeys towards its final destination, the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games (GC2018) Opening Ceremony on 4 April 2018.

Across Australia approximately 3,800 Baton bearers are needed to share the dream of the ‘friendly Games’ as part of the QBR.

We invite everyone to come down and welcome the Queen’s Baton to Coffs Coast on Thursday 1 February 2018 from 4pm.  The opening ceremony will take place at the Jetty Foreshore where the first baton bearer will start the Coffs Harbour leg of the Queen’s Baton journey.  The Baton will be passed through 13 baton bearers until it reaches the closing ceremony in City Square.

We encourage teachers, students and families to DOWNLOAD this Colour-By-Numbers sheet and make their own personal flag to fly proudly at this memorable occasion.
