Coffs Coast Career Connections

The City of Coffs Harbour along with Southern Cross University are partnering with Mid Coast Connect to present the Coffs Coast Careers Connection on Thursday 25 May 2023.
Local businesses are encouraged to attend this interactive event, as the strength of the local economy is underpinned by an appropriately qualified and motivated workforce. In line with the City of Coffs Harbour’s new Economic Development Strategy, this year’s event will focus on a range of industries, including Tourism, Agrifood, and Creative Industries. Pathways in these and other sectors of the regional economy will be highlighted, along with training opportunities available in the local area.
Career events are important in terms of raising the awareness and aspirations of young people and their career goals. Eighteen high schools in the region from Macksville to Dorrigo to Grafton are expected to bring 1200 students to the event.
