After ensuring the 2018 Federal Budget contained a $971 million funding commitment for the Coffs Harbour Pacific Highway Bypass, Deputy Prime Minister Michael McCormack will today visit Coffs Harbour.
Mr McCormack, the Minister for Infrastructure, will inspect the preferred route for the bypass with Federal Member for Cowper Luke Hartsuyker and Federal Member for Page Kevin Hogan this morning.
After a $971 million outlay was announced ahead the recent Federal Budget, Mr McCormack took to the floors of parliament to unveil the time-frame for the massive project.
“This has been a project called for by the community for decades and committed too by this Liberals Nationals government,” Mr McCormack said.
