Dear Sleep Out Participant,
On behalf of the C.ex Group and C.ex Community Crew, thank you for braving the cold and rain, helping to make a difference in our local community.
To date, our online fundraising along with cash received on the night amounts to more than $60,000.00!
Donations are still coming in, with the official campaign closing this Friday 7 July.
We hope that your Sleep Out experience provided insight into what it may be like for the 105,000 Australians who don’t have a safe place to call home each night.
The fundraising money will be evenly distributed between the following three charities and will be used to assist people in our community who are homeless, in addition to those at risk of experiencing homelessness.
-Bridging the Gap Men’s Resource Centre
-Homes for Heroes
-Warrina Domestic & Family Violence Specialist Services
For those who received cash donations, receipts have been issued and posted out to the donors as per the information provided on your tally sheets.
A final media release will be issued on Friday after fundraising has concluded. All event information and photos will also be posted on our website and Facebook page.
We hope to improve and grow the event in future years and would appreciate you taking the time to fill out an anonymous short survey reflecting on your experience – the survey can be accessed here.
