Ray is a truly proud born and bred local, born in the now old Victoria St Hospital and grew up in Sawtell.

His family all still live locally with himself, his wife and sons residing in Karangi.

Ray left Coffs from Jetty High to venture into the world of gem mining in Queensland and South Australia.

Returning to NSW to continue this career path until coming home in the early 90s to the now family owned quarry business.

In later years becoming managing director and now CEO, of a group of businesses all based in the Coffs region.

Ray is an advocate for ‘what’s good for the region is good for everybody’, with whatever flow on effects that may occur.

Ray is passionate about the local success of business and the local region.
