The Observatory Apartments

Neil Manson is a 5th generation Coffs Coast local with a passionate drive to improve the Coffs Coast as a great place to live, raise a family, work and grow. As pioneers of the area Neil’s family have always contributed to improving the community, Neil continues this tradition both in his professional capacity and as a volunteer working for many community groups.

As a director in his family’s business The Observatory Apartments Neil regularly interacts with both other tourism operators and his customers to gain a very good understanding of the local tourism industry and the needs and expectations of our city’s visitors.  

As a volunteer Neil is the coordinator of the popular Rainforest Rattler vintage train that visits the Coffs Coast every year. This popular attraction showcases our region to thousands of locals and visitors and has become an important attraction on the Coffs Coast.

Neil believes our city’s forbears got it right when they chose the words “Progress and Prosper” on the city’s crest. In joining the chamber of commerce Neil wishes to contribute to improving our city for all to enjoy.
