icare would like to invite you to attend our Workers Insurance Forum in Coffs Harbour on Thursday 4 July 2019.
Join us to hear from our experts and meet with key contacts.
The purpose of this event is to:
• Provide tools on how to reduce incidents within workplaces
• Assist with prevention and support for individuals within workplaces and your local community
• Increase understanding on the impact of traumatic events on worker behaviour
• Give practical advice on resilience around customer behaviours in the retail industry

Injury Prevention, Reducing Incidents and Premiums
Presented by Andrew Davies – icare Injury Prevention Specialist
This session will highlight some of the initiatives that the Injury Prevention Team at icare are promoting whilst working with our customers to reduce incidents in their workplace and ways to better their premium.
Respect and Resilience in Retail
Presented by Andrew Ellery – Community Lead, icare NSW
This presentation focuses on dysfunctional customer behaviour in the retail industry, including the devastating physical, psychological and social health impacts on an organisation.
Understand how proactive intervention can minimise these impacts and other associated risks and costs to an organisation.
Understanding Complex Trauma
Presented by Jade Alexander – icare Mental Health Team Leader
In this session we will discuss the importance of understanding complex psychological trauma and its impact on worker beliefs and behaviour.
You will hear about small ways to modify practices and interactions with others that encourage positive relationships and engagement with recovery.
