As Coffs Harbour and the surrounding areas continue to grow, there is always going to be a need to provide for the visitors and tourists that choose to stay and enjoy their time here.
Whether they are here for a short stay, or for an extended break over the school holidays, they should know that they are well catered for with a great choice of ways to spend their leisure time. Additionally, the locals that live here equally have the chance to experience this as well.
For instance, attractions like The Big Banana Fun Park, Dolphin Marine Magic (Pet Porpoise Pool), Whale Watching and the new Treetops Adventure Park at Sealy Lookout – Bruxner Park, are wonderful assets to have in our diverse city.
With our great location between Sydney and Brisbane, we are also blessed to be in one of the best places in Australia for our ideal weather, and friendly atmosphere amongst those people that choose to live here. These businesses, along with many other tourism based attractions, depend on out of town patronage, and local support to survive. Being fortunate to live here and having young children, it’s great to have a selection to go to and keep them entertained over the weekends. We are also fortunate to have places like the Jetty precinct to enjoy, and to have the natural backdrop of the mountains that surround us to our beautiful beaches, is unique and special.
As we lead into our traditional warmer months towards summer, it entices you to get out over the weekend, and there is so much selection to experience with families and friends. Other attractions which are well worth a mention is The Clog Barn, Coffs Harbour Butterfly House and F1 Cart Hire, with so many other great places to visit on the Coffs Coast.
When we look back at the history of Coffs Harbour, our tourist attractions help put us on the map, and are just as important now to attract young and old to our piece of paradise. When locals continue to support these attractions out of regular holiday periods, this only strengthens the lure of tourists who stay, play and spend their travel dollars in Coffs Harbour. This then benefits many other businesses, booking accommodation, eating out at restaurants, and shopping locally with a large positive economic effect for the city.
